Assistant Accounts Manager

  • Overseeing and ensuring the accounting team in completion of monthly closing and audit related work by communicating and coordinating with whole finance team.
  • Responsible for AR management - monitoring and follow up with customers on overdue account and arrange for debt collection
  • Improve and implement debt collection processes when there is any overdue invoices or payment and initiate legal procedures when necessary
  • Prepare and generate sales invoices, debit and credit notes to customers
  • Generate monthly/weekly reports and schedules e.g. debtors ageing, weekly revenue report
  • Prepare and send statement of accounts to customers
  • Implementing and streamlining workflows
  • Responsible for the delegation of work and to nurture outstanding employee and be in line with the company's culture
  • Support system implementation/improvement as necessary
  • Guide/supervise team members as necessary
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Self-motivated, hands on, organised and able to work independently
  • Strong stakeholder management skillset with ability to interact and work across functions and levels
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, positive attitude, and proactive team player
  • Resourceful & possesses good problem- solving capability
  • Proficient in MS office applications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting
  • Relevant working experience in accounts preferred
  • Some audit experience preferred

Salary range: 3k - 4k (negotiable)

Malaysian or Singaporean preferred
