Drosophila fruit fly cultures (plus assorted live foods)

We can once again offer Drosophila cultures at the following rates:

$10 D. melanogaster, 400 ml cup, DIY media (banana, flour, yeast)
$15 D. melanogaster, 400 ml cup, Repashy Superfly medium
$15 D. melanogaster, 32 oz container, DIY media (banana, flour, yeast)
$20 D. melanogaster, 32 oz container, Repashy Superfly medium

$35 D. hydei, 32 oz container, Repashy Superfly medium

All cultures will be sold freshly-started. If you need a producing culture, let us know.

We also have a wide variety of other live foods ranging from the mundane to exotic. Talk to us if you need Daphnia sp., B. dubia roaches, white worms (Enchytraea sp.) grindal worms (E. buchholzi or similar), microworms (P. redivivus or similar), vinegar eels (T. aceti or similar), Paramecia-like ciliates.

Prices vary seasonally and with quality of culture enclosures and amount of time we need to spend talking you through the process. Low-frill prices for basic service (an excellent option for seasoned live food culturists) are available - just let us know you don't require support when you get in touch and we'll make prices as low as possible for you.
