Japanese Cuisine Chef (3.3k – 3.5k)

Location : Chinatown Area

Working Hours : 6 Days Work Week

We are looking for a Japanese Cuisine Chef to join our culinary team.

Your responsibility includes handling a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients, managing food stock and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards. To be successful in this role, you should have vast experience with Japanese cuisine and be available to work during our opening hours.

Ultimately, you will help us establish our reputation as one of the best sushi places in the area and increase our clientele.

Job Description

Supervise and perform daily food preparation and station set up.

Assist in creating and preparing new menu items and month specials

Perform cooking in accordance to recipe and plating standards.

Assist in purchasing, receiving and checking of goods delivered by suppliers.

Perform training and guidance to other crew.

Responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance of the kitchen and ensure compliance with all applicable food safety and regulations

Exhibit Japanese culinary talent and expertise by performing tasks while leading and coaching the staff and managing all food related production

Vast Experience in handling sushi, nigiri, rolls, temaki and sashimi

Perform other adhoc task assigned by the mamangement.

Requirements

3 Years Experience as Sushi Chef

Require to have Food & Hygiene Cert

Flexibility to take on various shifts

Able to converse in English and Chinese
