Sansui Model 220 Tube Receiver - Tube amplifier tube tuner - Year 1969
The Sansui Model 220 features an additional radio band in place of a multiplex circuit. It is ideal for places where stereo broadcasting facilities are not available. In addition to regular AM and FM bands, the 220 offers worldwide radio pick-up capabilities with a shortwave band frequency range from 3.5 to 10 MHz. Compact with 12 tubes, two transistors and six diodes, special FM AFC control for stable FM reception, tape monitor, mode, loudness and noise filter controls. The 220 has also been provided with a multiplex terminal for fast and convenient connection with a multiplex adaptor if desired.
