Hey, My name is Jonathan, but please...call me Jonny! I'm a 40 year old Native English Speaker from the United Kingdom and I'm here to help you learn English online!

I have been a Community Teacher on Italki for 2 years and taught many lessons to children and adults from all walks of life!

I have my 120 hour TEFL Certificate and have been teaching for 6 years in China, Spain, Slovakia and currently Italy.

I've taught Grammar, Pronunciation and Conversational English in a classroom to 2 – 30 students and on a one to one level.

I've helped students to pass their IELTS Examinations along with the Cambridge B1 (PET) and B2 (FCE) Exams along with conducting end of course assessments for the Ukrainian Language School – Space Deer

I love to talk about everything including history, current affairs, music, travel and mainly sports!

I'm a big sports fan and love football, snooker and darts.

I've travelled extensively around the world to many countries and experienced many wonderful cultures.

I've been fortunate enough to live in America, Canada, Spain, Slovakia, Spain, China, Italy, Australia and New Zealand for work have thoroughly enjoyed every second!

I became a teacher 5 years ago because i wanted something more from life.

Prior to becoming a teacher I was working in bars and nightclubs around the world and in the end it became uninteresting and there was no challenge.

Teaching has provided me with that challenge and also more importantly to assist students achieve their language goals.

I absolutely love my job and can't wait to meet you!
