I graduated from ACS (Independent) last year and I achieved 43 points. I got 7 for HL History, Chemistry and Economics, SL math and Chinese B. I got 6 for SL Langlit and 2 bonus points for EE and TOK. As IB is an international exam, the requirements are different from local examinations.
Having studied locally all my life, I understand that getting a 7 in IB isn’t easy at all. From my observation, I’ve realised that although many students know a lot, they can’t seem to do well or achieve a 6/7 in their school exams. This is usually because they don’t understand that scoring isn’t exactly dependant on how much they know. Rather, it’s whether they are able to answer succinctly and fulfil the requirements in the marking scheme. This is where I believe I can help, as my teaching style is straight to the point. I understand the answering technique and I teach students the science of scoring.
From my experience in giving tuition, I’ve been able to help my students improve in a short period of time, increasing one students' score by 17 points in one exam. Hence, I believe that I am able to help you learn the most important skills that will allow you to score. If you want to learn the techniques to improve your grades now, let me know and I am confident that I can help you.
