Melissa a leading provider of global contact data quality and identity verification has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director, who would be responsible for identifying, prospecting, closing and growing key accounts in the Asia Pacific region for the company’s flagship Data Quality solutions. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for creating a business plan that will analyze and segment potential customers, set goals and establish targets and communicate the plan to stakeholders. Overall, the position requires a self-motivated hunter that will spend the majority of time prospecting new account opportunities. Job Functions:

  • Build and execute a sales plan for the APAC region to generate and qualify leads and meet monthly goals you set for yourself.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including hosting demos, writing RFPs, negotiating price and quotes, and later managing the account for upsell and renewals.
  • Provide hand-off to Sales engineers to help navigate technical topics and detail product functionality to decision makers.
  • Contribute to the public face of Melissa attending industry functions, tradeshows, and generally promoting corporate value to technical and industry aligned partners.


  • 3 -5 years of experience in solution/system sales
  • Ideal candidates are experienced in the technology industry
  • Demonstrable and proven track record in achieving monthly, quarterly and annual quota
  • Ability to advocate both cloud based solutions and on premise software and communicate proper customer value proposition

Requisite Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Fluent in English with 1-2 other major Asian languages a requirement
  • Excellent at oral and written communication for proposals that may be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Compensation: There are no caps on the amount of commission that can be earned through sales, and with compounded growth in new sales and the commission on annual renewals the long term prospects are extremely conducive to high earning potential.
